Before you install

How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?
Request a full refund of eligible Loyalino subscription fees within the first 30 days after your first paid plan is activated, including any 14-day free trial. Both monthly and annual subscriptions are covered, with no reason required. Upgrades, downgrades, renewals, cancellation and reinstalling do not restart the window. We refund fees actually paid through Shopify; eligible unpaid charges are removed or credited. Contact support with your store domain. A request does not cancel your subscription. Read the full guarantee terms.
Is the free trial separate from the guarantee?
The 14-day trial is available to eligible first paid subscriptions. Shopify confirms eligibility and dates before approval. The trial is included within the 30-day guarantee window, not added to it. Changing plans does not restart either window.
What counts as a monthly loyalty order?
One distinct Shopify order that creates a loyalty-points transaction in the current calendar month. Multiple points transactions from the same order count once. The Free plan includes 200 monthly loyalty orders. At a finite plan limit, the loyalty program pauses until the next calendar month or an eligible upgrade; there are no per-order overage fees.
Do I need to edit my theme?
No. The floating widget, the product page points badge and the cart block all inject themselves from the app embed. If you would rather place them by hand, drop a <div data-loyalino-cart> where you want it and turn the automatic placement off.
Will it look like my store or like an app?
The widget inherits your theme's font by default and loads no webfont of its own. On top of that there are nine colour controls, four independent corner-radius settings, three custom CSS fields and 37 documented CSS variables. Everything ships inside a CSS cascade layer, so your own stylesheet overrides ours without !important. There is also a headless mode if you want to build the UI yourself.
What happens to points when an order is refunded?
They come back off automatically, in proportion to the refund. Partial refunds claw back part of the award, the total clawed can never exceed what was granted, and the balance is never pushed below zero. You can also delay new points until your return window has closed, counted from the day the order shipped or was delivered rather than the day it was paid.
Can I move my existing program over?
Yes. Import members and their point balances from CSV, and backfill points from past Shopify orders using the same rules live orders use. Tiers are recalculated automatically as balances land, so existing customers arrive at the rank they should already have.
Does it work with Shopify POS?
On paid plans, yes. Staff can look a member up, see their balance and tier, enrol a new member at the till and apply a reward to the open cart. In-store orders earn points, and POS can run its own earning rate if you want in-store to count differently.
Which languages does it support?
Built-in text ships in eight languages across the widget, customer accounts, POS and emails: English, Danish, German, Spanish, French, Norwegian, Dutch and Swedish. Words you write yourself, like reward names and tier names, are mirrored into Shopify as translatable content, so Shopify's free Translate & Adapt app can translate them into any language you publish.
Where is my data stored, and what about GDPR?
The app runs in the EU on Railway, with data encrypted at rest and in transit. It implements Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks: a customer data request produces a full export, a redaction request deletes the records, and uninstalling triggers cleanup of the store's data. The full policy is in our privacy policy.
What happens if I uninstall or downgrade?
Downgrading turns off the paid features only. Your program, points and tiers stay exactly as they are, and upgrading again brings the features straight back with nothing to rebuild. Uninstalling removes the storefront elements and triggers deletion of your store's data in line with Shopify's retention rules.
Can I build on top of it?
On paid plans there is a REST API over customers, points transactions, rewards, earn rules, VIP tiers and activity, plus signed outbound webhooks you register yourself. There are also three Shopify Flow triggers, three Flow actions and eight ready-made Flow templates, and an MCP server so you can query the program from Claude.
